Bomberman can learn how to build four new types of Attribute Bomb, each of which gives him special abilities that are needed to navigate particular obstacles in the game. In order to build an Attribute Bomb, you need to do the following things:
- Win a Bomb Merge Item by completing a minigame in a specific stage.
- With the Bomb Merge Item, locate the Bomb Merge Portal in a later stage.
Once you complete both, the new Attribute Bomb will be made and can be used immediately.

| Light Bomb | Strobe | 4-1 | 4-3 | Solidifies translucent objects. Only when an object is solid can the object be interacted. |
