Over time, the game automatically accumulates "Dream Clouds." Dream Clouds can also be restored using Play Coins, which are collected using the 3DS's pedometer. Players can then enter a shooting mode where they shoot the clouds, aiming by physically moving the 3DS system, in order to collect the energy inside. Sometimes, a cloud will contain an item or a Pokemon.
