About FAMAS. one day i am experimenting to find out which weapon is the most accurate. surprisingly, when using FAMAS in Burst Mode, the weapons becomes way more accurate than the automatic mode. Then when i test this with a Bot in Aztec map, i go to the bridge. At the other side of the bridge, i see Terrorists running around and shooting me with no effect. When i shot him once using Burst, he's dead instantly. Headshot!

then i add this tip to the FAMAS section. -> [[User:Dalva|Dalva]] 09:30, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Stuff

While dualies CAN be a poor choice, however, with one of three things, they can become superior to some SMGs. The three things are:

  1. Skill. With a fast finger, good aim and a little luck, you can pump rounds out very fast.
Autofire script (I don't endorse this at all). Likely to get you banned, however, simply pointing your guns in the right direction ensures a kill at close and medium ranges.
Loose scroll wheel. Most scroll wheels do not spin freely, however, if you have a loose wheel you can bind fire to mousewheel up (or down) and spin away. In many cases, having a loose scroll wheel is even superior to an autofire script.

I guess what I'm saying is, there are many situations where they are much better than a cheaper pistol or an smg. In rare cases they are even better than a rifle.

Now, on the subject of AWPs. You may already know this, but it is possible to fire faster with skill. Basically, instead of waiting for the bolt to pull back, swap to the pistol and back the AWP. If done fast enough, this is quicker than simply pulling back the bolt. Plus, it has the added bonus of confusing your opponent (the split second you have your pistol out may make them think you are swapping to close combat).

Lastly, CS:S is being updated. Weapon prices now flucuate based on how many are bought every week. The "Price:" field on each table will have to be replaced with "Default Price:" --RovingRoflguy 03:08, 5 October 2006 (CDT)
