The Monster section is getting very long should it split monsters between level range "MapleStory/Monsters/Level 1-10", "MapleStory/Monsters/Level 11-20" and so on.... or (same as above) but with this page as the master list and have list of monster name or just leave it alone? -- [[User:DarkNShadow|DarkNShadow]] 04:41, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

Quality of monster notes

It looks like retarded monkeys (aka 13 year olds with bad typing skills and grammar) have been typing most of these. (Look at "Wild Boar")

It's a starting point, they're quite new. Maybe they aren't great, but rather than insulting someone who put the effort into it, you could help instead. -- Prod-You 03:21, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

I just wanted to add another question relating to the quality of the notes. What guidelines are there for monster info? Should it be restricted to battle tactics and well-known (rare) drops, or should other information be allowed in as well? -- EMP Demon 02:25, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

Exactly as you said, only battle tactics and rare/notable drops. Perhaps items that are required for quests as well. Though there may be a lot of extra info for that so maybe another column could be used for that (with links to the relevant quest). If I can, I'll go through all the notes and try to clean them up a bit. -- Prod-You 15:25, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Unfortunately, the drop lists for GlobalMS and MapleSEA are now different. This brings up a question: Do we leave item-related notes in, take them out, or do we change them to say "In MapleSEA, blah blah blah" as necessary? -EMP Demon 07:21, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

Location Question

Where can these Chief Wood Board/ Chief Stone Wall monsters be found? -- Kevles
I'm not sure, but I think those monsters are KMS (Korean Maple Story) only. --EMP Demon 02:07, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
It is by Perion but in KoreaMS only for now. -- DarkNShadow 03:38, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Where the heck did those Evil mushmom and taurotorn monsters go?-- Skrub 05:25, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
Evil Mushmom and Taurotorn are 100% fake. -- 66.215.71.146 02:30, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
I thought as much. Taurotorn looks like someone discolered a Taurospear and photoshopped the Crimson Balrog skull. Evil Mushmom i'm not sure.-- Skrub 08:00, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Memo: JMS Monster Experience

All monster experience data taken from JMS websites take into account the automatic 125% EXP boost that their servers receive. I corrected some of the incorrect experience counts I came across while editing, but most likely missed a couple.

I added a JMS EXP section in the template so we can have JMS EXP now. -- DarkNShadow 21:21, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

Fake Monsters

Prod, please don't remove my Fake Monsters section. You can fix it, but DO NOT REMOVE IT PLEASE!!!!!!!!! --Skrub 09:59, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

If they are fake, why include them? -- Prod-You 15:04, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
If fake monster section goes out of hand it should be deleted. -- DarkNShadow 16:42, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
Oh, whatever. But if it does get out of hand (Ex: 50 fakes) then delete it.--Skrub 07:10, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
As amusing as seeing all these "fake" monsters, I really don't see the point. Except for a marginal amount of humour, they add nothing to the page. We're trying to be informational, not uncyclopedic -- Prod-You 21:54, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

Newest Monsters

An anonymous edit, tipped me off about the New Monsters section. We haven't really specified its "point". Are we going to put new monsters to the game in general (are there different monsters added to jms and kms at the same time?) or each new version? Also, just to note, try to include the date or something so we know how long its been up. -- Prod-You 17:47, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Oh yea I forgot to say I added dates to the section for each versions release. -- DarkNShadow 03:35, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

Deleted Info

Ok, is this some sort of sick joke? Wizet is still running MapleStory, 69.110.39.119, and I added back the page, being a die hard fan!!!! (If ya didn't know some guy deleted the page. --Skrub 07:19, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

Yea, he did that earlier. Just another vandal, ignore him :P -- Prod-You 00:34, 20 August 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I bet he was a Runescape player. (Hey, I got nothing on Runescape, exept most of the players hate Maplestory.)
