Controls can be modified and viewed at any time except during a multiplayer game.

Menu options[edit]

Applies when viewing one of the game's many menus.

Xbox 360 PC Action
Up lstick and Down lstick  ↑  and  ↓  Highlight Option
Left lstick and Right lstick and Change setting / Mode Slider
A button  Enter  and Mouse left click Confirm / Next Menu
B button  Backspace  Cancel / Previous Menu

Universal options[edit]

These options apply in all vessels and aircraft.

Back button  Tab  Activate Tactical Map ("RTS Mode")
R button  X  Jump In
None  T  Open Chat Window (Xbox players must use a headset when over Xbox Live)
Start button  Esc  or  P  Pause / In-game Menu
X button + Neutral dpad  Alt  + WSAD Command Menu
Left dpad and Right dpad  Q  and  E  Cycle Squadrons/Formations
Up dpad and Down dpad  F  and  C  Cycle unit in selected formation (Note: Does not apply to aircraft squadrons)}

Map controls[edit]

Applies when the map is visible by pressing  Tab  or Back button

Y button  O  Show / Hide objectives
Left dpad or Right dpad or Cycle Objectives
RT button and LT button Mouse wheel up and Mouse wheel down Zoom Map In/Out
A button Mouse left click Select Unit
A button + Enemy Target Mouse right click + Enemy Target Order selected unit to attack target
A button + Friendly Target Mouse right click + Friendly Target Cover Target (aircraft)
A button + Your Unit Mouse right click + Your Unit Follow Target and become formation member (Warship or submarine)
A button + Empty Space Mouse right click + Empty Space Move to target destination (Note: Waypoints are made by right-clicking multiple times)
B button  Space  Cancel Move/Attack Order

Navy controls[edit]

Applies when in command of a warship or submarine

Neutral rstick Mouse Rotate Camera
RT button Mouse left click Fire Weapon

LB button  R  Repair Screen (Note: Applies to all vessels except PT boats)
Y button Mouse middle click Binoculars / Periscope
Neutral lstick Mouse wheel up and Mouse wheel down Zoom binoculars / periscope
None  1  Switch to anti-aircraft weapons (Note: Not all ships carry AA guns)
None  2  Switch to artillery (main cannons) (Note: Not all ships carry artillery)
None  3  Switch to torpedoes (Note: Not all ships carry torpedoes)
None  4  Switch to depth charges (Note: Not all ships carry depth charges)
RB button Left  Shift  Control Panel for launching aircraft (carriers or airfields) or ships (shipyards)
Up dpad  F  Surface (Note: Applies only to submarines)
Down dpad  C  Dive (Note: Applies only to submarines)

Aircraft controls[edit]

Applies only when in command of an aircraft

Note: It is highly recommended that PC players obtain a joystick for flying
