In this chapter, Dr. Kyne kindly asks Issac to retrieve the marker. After the usual antics, the marker gets transported to the colony in an attempt to have Issac and Nicole whole again.

Cargo Bay[edit]

After getting off the tram, Dr. Kyne instructs Issac to head to the cargo bay and transport the marker via the cargo lift. There is a store and bench in the area which you can use,

The first door opens to an exploder, but that is a jump scare rather than a threat. You will want the right-hand turn just after the save point to enter the cargo bay. Move down the lift, but watch for the two enemies (one exploder, and one pregnant) on patrol.

A tentacle appears once the marker is retrieved

When you retrieve the marker, a wave of necromorphs will attack, and the drag tentacles will rise from the cargo area below. The drag tentacles will only slam the walkway and can be avoided by quick movement or by shooting the yellow spot. Additional waves will arrive when you start moving the marker, and when you get it into the position on the other side of the cargo bay. When it is in position, the marker will be transported to the hanger bay.

Before exiting the cargo bay, look for a power node in the cargo bay, located in the corner that is to the right of the lift. You may also want to check your ammunition and health at the store before proceeding to the hanger bay.

Hangar Bay[edit]

Kendra activates the elevator so that you can reach the flight deck. When you're about to enter the hanger, the biohazard alarm activates, locking you in the room to fight off seven necromorphs.

When you see Dr. Kyne's shuttle, he will ask you to move the marker onto the shuttle as it's not automatically loading. You will also need to disable gravity to get the loader to work. Fly down to the far end of the hangar, and use the kinesis module to drag the marker. While doing so, you'll be attacked by necromorphs from the side wall.

While moving the marker, you will have to adjust the track to make sure it moves correctly. Additional necromorphs attack during this time. When the marker is moved to the destination, restore gravity and return to the shuttle.

Dr. Kyne starts calling you, but is killed by Kendra to prevent the marker from being returned. To get the marker back on track, Nicole calls you to the flight control room. You will need to kill a guardian on the way, but once you reach the control room, you can recall the shuttle. Return to the shuttle, and engage the last wave of necromorphs.
