Aura : Number of aura stock(s) needed
Stars : [# of stars removed on normal hit /# of stars removed on counter hit]
Type : state where the move can be performed
Properties : extra/specific properties of the move

Special Moves

Hokuto Ryu Geki Ko (北斗龍撃虎)

Aura : 0 / Stars : [0/1] / Type : Ground
Properties : Counters hi/mid attacks. Reflects most projectiles.


A counter attack. Note that you can reflect most floating projectiles. This move has noticeable startup frames.


Touki (闘気)

Properties : Disappears at mid-range


A forward-flying projectile similar to Sakura's Street Fighter Alpha / Street Fighter IV Hadouken.

Seieikou (秘孔・醒鋭孔)

Properties : Upon hit, allows Kenshiro to deal chip damage with his basic moves when opponent is guarding.


Short-range move. Electicity appears on the portrait of the opponent when the move successfully hits him. Move properties are active as long as this spark is displayed.

Hokuto Hieiken (北斗飛衛拳)

Properties : Makes opponent bounce on the wall if counter


The famous flying kick, similar to Shin's Nanto Gokutoken.

Tenha No Kamae (天破の構え)

Properties : Removes an additional star on next attack.


Kenshiro moves his arms in a certain way to form the great dipper with his hands. A small dark blue flame appears above his boost bar when the action is done. It disappears as soon as Kenshiro performs an attack.

Hokuto Ujoumoushouha (北斗有情猛翔破)

Aura : 0 / Stars : [1/2] (A Version) - [0/1] (C Version) / Type : Ground - Air (C version only)
Properties : A version makes Kenshiro stay on ground.

Classic shoryuken-style move. C version has 1 hit-autoguard between 1st & 2nd hit, hits 3 times and makes Kenshiro jump in the air.

Hokuto Jaraikou (北斗蛇雷咬)

Properties : 1 hit autoguard before movehit active frames.


Fast dashing punch, very useful in most Kenshiro's combos

Hokuto Shichishiki Heizan (北斗七死騎兵斬)

Properties : Overhead attack


2-hit attack which can be linked into a combo.

Tenha Kassatsu (天破活殺)

Properties : Negates all projectiles.


Fullscreen beam super. Has startup frames where Kenshiro can be hit at mid-range.

Muso Tensei (無想転生)

Aura : 1 / Stars : [0/0] / Type : Ground
Properties : Stays between rounds - Disappears after 7 uses.


Allows Kenshiro to teleport behind opponent when tapping forward for a mid/high attack and down for a low attack.
