Kick and Run is a Soccer game originally developed and published as an arcade game by Taito Corporation in 1986. It was later ported for play on the Famicom Disk System and publised in Japan in 1988. In addition to a joystick and a push button, the arcade version also featured a kick pedal which players used to instruct their on-screen player to kick the ball. It also allowed for up to four players to play simultaneously (two players per team).
The game was faithfully recreated in the Famicom Disk System port. A bootleg version of the game was released in arcades as Mexico 86 (named so because the World Cup was held in Mexico in 1986). The arcade game was also included in the PlayStation 2 release of Taito Memories II Joukan.
