Super Mario Kart/Battle Course

The battle courses are available in two player mode only.
Battle Course 1
Battle Course 1 is presumably part of Donut Plains, and as such is mainly made up of mud. This course is perhaps most notable for its asymmetrical design, unlike the others which all have at least one line of symmetry.
Battle Course 2
Battle Course 2 is part of Koopa Beach, and unlike the other battle courses, it has boxed-in areas that are only accesible via use of a Feather. Jump bars can be found inside the boxed-in areas so that racers who accidentially jump inside can get out.
