This section's purpose is to simply get you through the prologue.
After an introductory sequence, you'll end up in Flipside, an area between dimensions. You must place the first Pure Heart in a heart pillar, which is located on the left side of the third floor. Either follow Tippi and take the elevators, or jump off the tower (which has the bonus of seeing Mario land on his face. Yay). After placing the Pure Heart, a door to the place where the next one is will appear on the tower. Go to it and enter Lineland, the land...made of lines.
