Object Placement Tools

Delete  or  Backspace	Delete object
Alt  + (while holding or moving an object)	Enable off-grid placement
Alt  + right-click (while rotating an object)	Enable off-angle rotation
Left-click + drag	Move object up or down wall in increments
Alt  + left-click + drag	Move object up or down wall smoothly
M	Move object to next available slot on table/shelf
Shift  + left-click	Continue placing object
General Tool Controls
Left-click + or drag	Use tools, drag to affect area
Ctrl  + left-click + or drag	Remove walls etc, drag to remove area

Build Room Controls
Wall tool:  Shift  + drag	Create room
Wallpaper/flooring tool:  Shift  + drag	Fill room with wallpaper/flooring
Floor tool:  <  /  >	Rotate floor tile
Ctrl  +  F	Toggle full/quarter tile mode
Ctrl  +  Shift  +  O	Toggle visibility of object footprints
View Options
L	Toggle Day/Night
G	Indoor Grid Placement
T	Top down View
Terrain Controls
Terrain tool:  Shift	Invert tool
Grass tool:  Ctrl  + left-click	Remove selected grass type

Movie Making Mode

Tab	Enable movie making mode
V	Start/end video capture
Q  /  E	Lower/raise camera height
Shift  +  A  /  Shift  +  D	Roll camera clockwise/counter-clockwise
Shift  +  S	Level out the camera roll
Z  /  X  or  +  /  -  or scroll /	Adjust focal length
C	Take a snapshot

Holding  Shift  has no effect on moving/zooming speed in Movie Making mode

Live Mode

Sim/Household Controls
Left-click active Sim	Select interactions to perform to active Sim
Left-click another Sim	Select interactions done by active Sim to other Sims
Space  or  N	Switch to next Sim in household
Left click Sim portrait or right-click Sim	Switch to (specific) Sim
Right click or  Ctrl  + Sim portrait	Lock camera to Sim
Enter	Center camera on active Sim
J	Access Skill Journal
I	Access Inventory. Press twice to hide panel
K	Access Adventure Journal (World Adventures Ep only)
