The appendices section contains information related to the herbs. This information is stored in a table or shown in a picture.
Herbs are useful for various things. They can help you complete puzzles (Banishing the Sharks , The Hanging Key), make your villagers feel better/sick or even make them run everywhere.
To get one of the awards in the game, you will need to make 50 different potions. This can be achieved by following the potions guide. You can make 35 with the normal herbs and 21 with the one you will get when you reach level 2 in your faction (Nature or Magic).
