This is the first level. Initially you will not have any equipment and will have to head to the right and enter the door to obtain your first sword and an elixir. File:WBML SMS round 1.png
Your first battle is with Death. He is not too dangerous, as he normally takes large, slow swooping attacks. Depending on which version you use, he may also may make a low charge attack which is countered by a jump-attack.
When you defeat him, collect the key and head to the right to exit to Round 2.
Secrets
- There's a hidden coin hanging in the last tree in the row of trees directly at the start of the game.
- 3x Coins on old lady's stump
- At the bar, jump to the left of the door for 16 gold.
- Heart at last tree before the gate
