The playble main character in the game. She is an Umbran witch that uses spells and summon demons to destroy the Angle's forces.

A mysterious rival of Bayonetta's who has knowledge pof bayonetta's past and works for the mysterious Father Baldr.
Father Baldr[edit]
The last of the Lumen sages, and who works for the Angels.
Cereza[edit]
A little girl who has some unknown ties with Bayonetta.
Luka[edit]
Bumbling reporter who acts as Bayonetta's ally and love interest.
Rodin[edit]
A demon who is the proprietor known as the "Gates of Hell" and acts as a vendor and armourer for Bayonetta.
Enzo[edit]
Enzo is a minor character who works as an informant for Bayonetta.
King Zero[edit]
A demon who is a secret playable character in the game.
