Atari 2600[edit]
Developed by Atari in 1982. Nearly every element of the arcade has been converted over, albeit with simplified graphics. The biggest compromise in this version is the fact that the mushrooms show no sign of wear, even though they are destroyed and disappear after four shots. Additionally, the mushrooms that a Scorpion touches do not become or appear poisoned until the scorpion safely reaches the opposite side of the screen without being killed.
Atari 5200[edit]
Developed by Atari in 1982. In an unsual move for Atari, the 5200 version is a different program from the Atari 400/800 computer version. Aside from the graphical difference, the 5200 version is programmed to deal better with analog controls, including the rather large Atari 5200 trackball controller.
Atari 7800[edit]
Developed by Atari in 1984, but released in 1987. This version was meant to showcase the Atari 7800's color capabilities.
