The easiest way to learn the game is by trying its on-line remake [[1]], which contains tutorial. Alas many similarities the original game is little different and is much harder.

First, when you begin a mission, you need to place your soldiers on the map. When you do, press an end turn button Incubation endTurnButton.jpg.

Examine your squad by clicking on each soldier. At they legs you can see how many action each of them can take during the turn. You can freely switch between soldiers when not taking actions. But if a soldier makes one and you select another soldier, the turn for the first one is done and all his remaining action points are lost.

Move your soldier by clicking on a number around him. The numbers show how many action points will left. As you can see, diagonal moves are illegal. When you do a move you must set a face direction of your soldier. Turning a soldier is free and you can do it in place. But remember that your back armor is weaker than the front one.

Shoot enemies by click on them, if a soldier can attack, he will do it. Be warned about the gun state icon Incubation weapon state.jpg. It shows remaining ammo, and your weapon heat. With every shoot your gun get warmer and it can broke if it gets too hot.

In the tactical map there is some environment you can interact with. They are doors, switches, boxes and barrels. To use one turn a soldier to it and push a use button.

There are two types of boxes

  • Ammunition box Incubation ammo box.jpg fills your clip. It can be used only once.
  • Equipment box Incubation equipment box.jpg gives you equipment which you will use on further mission. Always try to open as many as possible.
