Faerie spring of Mia

Located straight north from the Rainbow Bridge.

Faerie: "It is a pixie! I heard that the pixie had her wings stolen. The witch took the wings to Kapi's tower." "Thank you for finding my pixie wings. There is a king in a cave near here who is searching for the crown."

Wingless pixie: "A witch took my pixie wings. I cannot fly without them. What shall I do?" "Oh! Those are my wings. Thank you very much. Now I can return to Pixie. In return, I will give you some valuable information. I have heard that there is an old crown on the northern island. You can get there by ship from Bread."

Kapi's tower

Located in the east of this region.

• Ground floor: the chest holds one bread.
• Floor 1: if Maria talks to the witch after she talked to all the faeries in Mia, the witch will give her the pixie's wings (P-wings).
• Floor 2: the chest holds another bread.

Howling cave

Optional. This cave is located to the west from Mia spring.

As always, it is better to collect the spirit item before the fragments of hope in the same cave. When you find the rockwing, summon the Wing Man extensively: after collecting three more fragments of hope, he will be already significantly weaker than Moja or the Hugeslug.

Jumping in the large hole leads to different areas of the lower floor. Therefore, you can explore the cave in this order:

1. Enter and follow the chasm edge to the south-west; jump off and collect the Wing man's rockwing; follow the path and go back upstairs.
2. Get near the entrance stairs, and jump off from there; collect the fragment of hope (n.10); climb the nearby staircase.
3. From the "floating platform", jump off to the west; go south and open a chest with 200 rubies; go west and climb upstairs; continue north and collect another fragment of hope (n.11).

Back to the main dome, there's a passage left to the south-east, but it just leads to a dead end. Leave the cave and go back to Mia spring.

Red pyramid on Alko island

This is an optional dungeon.

One character in Pixie village told Maria about Alko island. Back then, she was too weak to explore it. Now it is the perfect time to visit it, since Maria already has to go back to Bread town and take a ship.

Use the witch's broom and fly back to Bath spring on Bread island. Visit the town and board the ship to Alko; it costs 1000 Rubies. On the island, visit the red pyramid (it is white outside, but the name comes from the tiles inside). The ground floor is empty, whereas there are two chests on the first floor. You can collect a fragment of hope (n.12) and the arrow, that is a weapon as powerful as the wingrock wingman.

Go back to Bread by ship, then heal and save at Bath spring.

Batoth castle ruins on Evil King's island

The pixies in Mia and the humans in the town of Kapi's tower all directed Maria towards this island and the crown that is in the castle ruins.

In Bread town, pay 300 Rubies for a boat trip to Evil King island. This island is smaller than Alko; the castle ruins, too, are smaller than the Red Pyramid, and there is no underground basement. You can easily find the boss.

Boss: Hob

Hobgoblin: "The crown is my treasure, so I will not give it to you. Do you think you can steal it from me?"

"Hob" is the abbreviation of "Hobgoblin". This boss was already met several times during this chapter in random enemy encounters. It should be extremely easy to beat.

The victory grants Maria the Old crown. Let us get back to Mia spring (on Elhalia mainland) by use of the broom.

Cave of the ghost king

Ghost: "I used to be the king of Batoth. Batoth is now called the island of evil. Humans used to live on the island, but, deceived by evil forces, I tried to take control of the world. However, I fell ill and finally came to rest upon this land. I was foolish, but please restore my crown. Please bring the crown here." No? "All right. I will become an evil spirit again and will control everything. Hey, little girl, go wherever you want! I will always disrupt your dreams." Yes? "Oh! Thank you! Elhalia and Kunashiria will be connected again." "Oh! That is the crown which I have been looking for. Is that for me, someone who once committed evil acts? Well, keep on trying to fulfill your hopes. So long."

This cave is located in the extreme east of Elhalia.

At the fork, go south first; Maria will find a chest with a fragment of hope (n.13). Backtrack and take the other path. Talk to the ghost; it will take the old crown and disappear. Now Maria can continue along the passage and emerge in Kunashiria.
