Lost Cavern[edit]

The game begins with Toku lying asleep under a large tree. Move the pointer around Toku to create some wind to wake him up. Since the ledge to your left is too high, start to move right and Toku will automatically climb up the ledges that are in your path until you reach the next screen. Keep moving right until you reach the bridge. It will break and you'll fall into a cave. When you regain control of Toku, head right again and jump off the ledge (which Toku will do automatically by walking off a ledge). Get close to the small gem in the background and pick it up using Z button. You've found Enril, trapped within the Spirit Stone. She'll begin to weave a tale of how she came to be trapped within the stone and request your aid in restoring her powers. After she tells her tale, he'll join you and you'll gain the power of Gust. You can use it by holding A button and drawing a line with Remote button. Play around with it a bit; it takes a little bit of practice to get used to.

Now, head right and climb up onto the grassy ledge. Hanging from the ceiling above is a red fruit. Fruits can be eaten to fully restore Toku's health. Use Gust to blow the fruit down and then press Z button to eat it if you like. While you're there, try moving the Remote button pointer around some of the objects on the screen. As some of the background objects get blown around by the breeze, you may find small, glowing blue things floating upward. These are Spirit Charms. Collecting these (by simply moving the pointer over them) fills up your revive meter. These blue icons on the HUD to the left of Toku's health allow you to revive Toku when his health falls to zero, once for each full icon. Collecting Spirit Charms from the environment, as well as fallen enemies, allows you to fill these icons up so you may revive Toku.

Gust to the next two platforms on your right, then left to the next two. Carefully Gust left to clear the gaps over the area where you just met Enril, then keep Gusting left until you reach an odd plant called a Poyak. While inside of it, send a gust through it to be launched upwards, where you can gust yourself onto the next platform. Continue climbing, Gusting yourself to the platforms until you can go left again. When you can, jump into the hole to the far left of this area and wave the pointer across Toku to slow his fall. If you accidentally fall too fast and get hurt, there's fruit at the bottom. Now, keep heading left to the next screen.

Shrine of Gale[edit]

You Found a Melodia Statue! (1/24)
With your new and improved Gust you'll be able to reach the ledge to the left of the shrine. Sitting there is your first Melodia Statue. Collecting these statues is primarily for completionists and unfortunately does not unlock anything.

In this new room, drop down from the ledge then climb onto the pressure pad in front of the shrine. Use can read the inscription with Z button for a hint or simply send a Gust through the wind wheel at the top to trigger a small cut-scene. With that, Enril's Gust power has increased, allowing you to gust several times in the air in order to reach higher places. Gust back up to the right, then head back to the previous screen.

Leaving the Lost Cavern[edit]

Go right until you reach the area where you met Enril. A few enemies will be in the area now. To defeat these Glorbs, just gust them into the air and slam them back down with another gust. It's simple. After you've taken care of them, start heading right again, gusting up as you go, until you reach a small sapling. Splash it with water using gust and it will grow into a Poyak, which you can use to reach the area above. Kill the Glorb, gust over the hole, then head out of the cave to the right!
