Every so often in party mode, a battle mini game will replace the other type of mini game you would have played following the board combination system. There is no board combination that will let you play a battle mini game. When a battle mini game is activated, unlike other mini games, it will not be chosen by a random roulette. It will instead be chosen via vote. The game will present the players with three out of the five battle mini games. The players then vote for the one they would like to play with. The one with the most votes will be played. If there is a tie between two mini games receiving two votes each, the mini game that received zero votes will be the one that is played.
