In MechAssault: Phantom War, there are two main types of hacking: Neurohacking and Terminal Hacking. Neurohacking is used when you are hacking and enemy mech with your battle armor. You carry out Terminal Hacking at terminals at the bases of gates and walls, to gain access to the next part of the mission, or the next mission. Neurohacking is where, once you have hooked onto an enemy Mech, you drag symbols down from the top four boxes to lower four boxes. Terminal Hacking is similar, except symbols fall down and you have to catch them and drag them to their proper boxes.
