Level 1 - Air Vent[edit]

  • Boss - Air Man
  • Element - None
  • Hp - 300
  • Attacks
    • Air burst: Air Man fires a burst of air from his chest straight down the row he is currently in.
    • Triple Tornado: releases three tornadoes at once lining all three rows with one moving faster or slower than the other two.

Recommended Strategies[edit]

The air burst is pretty easy to dodge, just make sure that you're not in his row when he releases it. The triple tornado requires you to carefully watch the speed of the tornadoes, since one of them is going to move faster or slower than the other two, allowing you to dodge them. Overall, a pretty easy boss in his earlier stages, but his attacks become faster as he becomes stronger, and does more damage. He's a pretty simple boss that shouldn't give much trouble.

  • (500 health) V2 is on the right path from Lan's access to Den Area 1. Stay on the path until the dead end.
  • (700 health) V3 is randomly in Den Area 1.

If you have the right chips, Airman will definitely be a breeze. To defeat him, use anything that can paralyze him, because of his rapid launch of attacks. Good chips are Toadman V1/V2/V3 chips, because they take out a lot of damage and paralyze instead of stunning. Also a five star buster to help with damage.

Level 2 - Okuden Dam[edit]

  • Boss - Quick Man
  • Element - None
  • Hp - 400, 600(V2), 800(V3)
  • Attacks
    • Boomerang
    • Curved Boomerang (V2 upwards)
    • Slash (done when HP is low, V2 upwards) - 200 Damage

Recommended Strategies[edit]

Quickman is quite tough for an early boss, since he can't be hit when he's standing still, or hopping from square to square. You can only hit him when he's unleashing an attack. Fortunately, he doesn’t have too much Hp, which is his weakness, so hit him with chips like Gutsman (or Airman, if you got it from his ghost) which are high power chips at this stage of the game, and you should be able to defeat him.

  • V2 is like going to KotoSquare except when you see the security cube you go to it then turn left.
  • V3 randomly appears in KotoArea.

He is one of the hardest bosses in the MMBN2 game, because you have to hit him while he is attacking. A suggestion is Toadman V2/V3 with a whole bunch of Attack+ 10/20/30 and Navi+ 20/30/40 and Elec+ 20/30/40 and the Gater P.A. While he is jumping around, just stand in one spot (on the middle tile for people with slow reflexes). Once he attacks dodge, come to the front row, and use multiple Toadman V2/V3 or just one with four power adding chips once the custom gauge is full. Once he is paralyzed immediately go to the screen for the Gater P.A of rid chips. Once you defeat him, save.

Another easy way of beating Quickman is to use your Flamethrower (if you have a Heat Style) while Quickman is skipping around the panels; he'll easily be nailed by the Flamethrower for up to 100 points damage per hit.

Level 3 - Yumland Square[edit]

  • Boss - Cut Man
  • Element - None
  • Hp 600
  • Attacks
    • Head Cut (cuts with blade on head, does in front row)
    • Boomerang Blade (fires his head blade 3 squares forward and returns to him)
    • Floating scissors (not really an attack, 2 floating scissor blades that rotate anticlockwise around the central rock on your side)

Recommended Strategies[edit]

Cutman's tactic can be greatly hindered with one simple maneuver; Areagrab. The spinning blades only go around the rock in the middle of your area, and there also happens to be a rock on his side of the field in the same position. Once Cutman is not in his front row, use Areagrab and stand behind his rock, and you can't get hurt from his attacks! From thereon, you can keep on attacking him with close range chips until he's gone.

If you aren't able to use Areagrab on him, what you can do is to follow the pattern of the scissors in order to prevent damage, and WATCH OUT FOR HIS HEAD CUT ATTACK. that may only have a range of one square, but with the scissor blades hounding you all the time, he might coax you to him, and you battle could be over just like that. small range, but very powerful.

Strategy: Freezeman V2/V3[edit]

  • V2 is in Undernet 7 to the far left to a dead end path.
  • V3 randomly in Undernet 7

Have eight V1/V2/V3. Now throw away other chips until you have three Toadman V1/V2/V3 and let it rip.
