Considering it's a dancing game, where are the controls? The answer, very hardly if any at all. Because of the motion console controls, all you have to do is move. Going by console and handheld, there will be specifics instead tailored to it.

Starting with the Playstation motion controls which is like a microphone is simply moving the sticks that was aimed at the screen in directions as the song plays.

The Nintendo Wii motion controls which is the wii remote and nunchuk, as long as it's properly tuned, you'll be able to follow Michael's and his backup dances easily.

The Xbox Kinect is rare because you don't have to worry about holding an object while you dance. So simply follow the dance and you'll be fine. However, make sure you tune the visual so you don't have to worry about lag, or maybe the dance onscreen doesn't sync up with your dancing effort.

The DS and 3DS will follow with the stylus on the bottom screen prompts like "Elite Beat Agents". Keep in time with the prompts and movements and watch out for the spinning circle too.

The PSP should be very simple. All you have is pressing left on the dpad and circle. Just follow the prompts onscreen.
