Once Pat and Jess have reappeared on the screen (in PAT 1 again), you'll have to press 
to accelerate it and push the D-Pad up to direct it up (while watching out for two traffic cones); once you've done so, you shall have to push the D-Pad down to steer it back down (while watching out for three more traffic cones). You shall now have to direct PAT 1 up (while watching out for a sixth traffic cone), down (while watching out for a seventh traffic cone!), up (while watching out for two more traffic cones!), down, up, down (while watching out for four more traffic cones!), up, down, up, down (while watching out for two more traffic cones), up (while watching out for two more traffic cones!), down (while watching out for three more traffic cones!), up, down, up, and down - and once it has crossed the finishing line (where the kite is waiting), the text "Congratulations, you have completed the level!" shall appear on the screen. The screen shall then cut back to the picture of Ajay Bains in the Greendale Rocket again, only this time, the first question mark below it (next to Ajay's spare railwayman's hat) has been replaced with a piece of coal; you shall then proceed to Level 3-A, which involves finding the Reverend Timms.
