Episode 1[edit]
There are 13 trophies for the PlayStation 3, including one Gold, three Silver and eight Bronze.
Trophy guide[edit]
A few of the trophies are gained naturally through the course of the game, but the others require you to do extra exploring to unlock them. The following trophies will be acquired through simply completing the episode:
- We're on the Case!
- The Brain Awakens
- Ape Escape
- The Penal Zone
- Crime-Tron
You will need to complete specific actions for the rest of the trophies.
- Is This Your Card?
In the beginning of the episode when you have the power to read minds, make sure you read everyone's minds:
- Harry Moleman
- Stinky
- Skun-ka'pe
- Sam
- The alien brain
- Soothsayer
Use Future Vision on Sam at each of the following locations:
- Straight & Narrow
- Subway
- Bosco-Tech (inside and outside)
- Stinky's Diner
- Skun-ka'pe's ship
- Meesta Pizza
- Pawn Shop
- Toy Store
- The Cavern of the Box
- To the Five Boroughs
The only missable place is the side of the subway reached from climbing down from the street. You'll visit everywhere else just by playing through the game.
- Pret-a-teleporter
You'll likely have teleported everywhere by playing, but just in case, go through and teleport to each phone one by one. The only ones you might not use in the game is Stinky's diner and the COPS.
- Ask Your Parents
There are seven old-school references that count toward the trophy, but only three of them require that you find them on your own. The rest will be heard by finishing the episode.
- Look at the baby carriage in the subway.
- Look at the dresser at Bosco-Tech Labs.
- Look at the ectoplasm at Bosco-Tech Labs.
- Don't Ask Your Parents
There are ten double entendres needed for this trophy, and the following two must be explicitly found by you:
- Talk to Max about his presidency and then other planets.
- Ask the mole men cultists about the rift generator in the Cavern of the Box.
- Frequent Flier
You can smack Max out of your way by walking into him. This trophy expects you to do it not just in every location, but also in every section of every location. Make sure you hit all the following spots:
- Skun-ka'pe's ship (lower deck, upper deck, moleman processing chamber)
- Straight & Narrow
- Subway (areas accessed via ladder, Stinky's Diner and Sybil's cell phone)
- Stinky's Diner
- Bosco-Tech Labs (rooftop, street, inside entrance, lab floor)
- Meesta Pizza
- Pawn Shop
- The Penal Zone
- The Cavern of the Box
- Part of a Nutritious Breakfast
- Note: The new location and Nutrition Specs are only available on the PlayStation 3 version.
After beating the game, you will find a new location on your map when you start a new game. You can search the dumpsters there to find the Nutrition Specs, and you can then use them the Abe Lincoln pudding head in the subway to find out that it contain's 1% carboard. Check the Lincoln head normally, outside of Max's powers, and you'll get the carboard and the trophy.
Episode 2[edit]

- Looters of the Lost Toybox
- Mystery on the Disorient Express
- Horror Show
You will need to complete specific actions for the rest of the trophies.
- Say Hi to the Nice People, Charlie
You won't always have the power of Psychic Ventriloquism, but when you do, you need to use it on the following targets:
- The tomb idol behind you when first facing off with St. Kringle
- Sameth
- St. Kringle
- Guardian
- Mole Man father
- Grandpa Mole
- Baby Amelia Earhart
- Jurgen
- Slushie
- Curse the Luck
You're only allowed to be cursed five times for this trophy. You can get curses taken off and be re-cursed sometimes, which will add extra curses and stop you from getting the trophy. Make sure you only get the following curses:
- The Holstein Hex when you steal the dummy from the Mole Girl.
- The Sexo Rejexo Hex when you throw your voice into the Mole Girl in reel two.
- The Bad Luck Curse when you tell Grandpa Mole you're from Stuttgart.
- The Sexo Rejexo Hex when you tell the Mole Man father his daughter is still in love with you in reel three.
- The Holstein Hex when you show the Mole Man father his daughter's love letter to Jurgen.
- Nine Lives of Sameth & Maximus
You can die many times throughout the game, including the mandatory ones at the beginning and end that can't be missed. Make sure to see the following deaths as well:
- At the beginning of reel two, let the conductor catch you in the train compartment without your tickets.
- When Grandpa Mole has put the spell of protection on the Devil's Toy Box, try to use it anyway.
- When stealing the dummy back from the Mole Girl, get eaten by the asp (without using the Can o' Nuts).
- Walk into the burial chamber of Sammun-Mak (where Grandpa Mole and Baby Amelia Earhart are).
- Get the Bad Luck curse put on you by Grandpa Mole and walk through one of the doorways by the Mole Man father.
- When Maximux has the option in reel four, say the incantation while he's at the toy box.
- Wait long enough for Sameth to be lowered into the barrel of flesh-eating ants.
- Chrono Logic
This one is pretty simple, just do the reels in order. You'll have to do a little bit in reels two and three to get the Can o' Nuts you need to finish reel one, but as soon a you get the toy idea from the elves, go back and finish the first reel. If the reel name isn't scratched off, you still need to ask the Mole Woman to read you a hieroglyphic comic. You should have everything you need to complete reel two once you get Jurgen's love letter in reel three. Reel four can't be completed before any of the others, so that should be all you need to do them in order.
- Doppel Fluch
Jugen gets cursed twice on the train ride home: once by the Mole Man father when you give him the love letter, and once by Slushie when he gets bitten. Just make sure you turn Jurgen into a vampire before giving the love letter to the Mole Man father.
- Double-Crossed
For this trophy, you need to have the Bad Luck curse on you at the same time as Maximus is turned into a cow. To get past the Mole Man father's doorways while cursed, you can either use the bust to break his machine, or you can use the Can o' Nuts power to roll through.
- Secret Handshake
Jurgen is the Yog-Soggoth devotee, as you might have guessed by seeing the idol in his closet. You won't know about the Brotherhood until you see inside St. Kringle's steamer trunk, so you'll have to get in there before you turn Jurgen into a vampire. When you've seen the note in Kringle's trunk and the idol in Jurgen's closet, ask Jurgen about the Brotherhood to trick him.
- Open Wide
In the Sphunx challenge on reel one, once you've said the hieroglyphics correctly, the mouth will open revealing the gate. You need to have the Can o' Nuts at this point to make through on your first time. Once you learn the hieroglyphics from the Mole Woman, make sure you get the toy idea in reel three and trade for the Can o' Nuts before attempting the challenge again.
Episode 3[edit]

- All Hail Sammun-Mak
- Reunited (And it Feels So Good)
You will need to complete specific actions for the rest of the trophies.
- Bad Cop/Sad Cop
Make sure you use the "Noir" and "Threaten" dialogue options in the first part of the game with the sign spinner, Frankie the Rat and the German tourist.
- The Grand Tour
Press all the buttons on the guided tour controller you get by the information desk.
- Blimp's Eye View
There are only three separate areas in the Museum of Natural History, but make sure you use the blimp Rhinoplasty image to transform the Pharaoh in the Egypt exhibit, and in the office before finishing that act.
- Tweenage Angst
You have to have the toaster and credit card banished anyway, but make sure you knock over the corn dog pyramid with Max as a storm cloud as well.
- Drop a Dime
You have to get the phone directory in the museum to get into the office, so just make sure you teleport to all the options on the Teleportion power: Upper Level, Egypt Exhibit, Info Desk and Office.
- Rhinoplastastic
There are only two items you can turn into that are missable, so just make sure you use the Rhinoplasty power to turn into a skull (picture behind Sal in the museum) and a pyramid (picture next to the brain urn in the Egypt exhibit).
