Items[edit]

Some items can be hidden under other items, even if you see an item on the ground that you don't want, make sure you still step on it and check your News window to see if, maybe, there's a key under it, also apply for animals, so yes you must step on them!

  • Anaesthetic dart gun: Use it with darts to put animals to sleep, but they can still be easily woken up if you step on them.
  • Bullwhips: Used to scare away animals.
  • Charcoal: Used to write message on wall.
  • Compass: Used to know the direction you're facing in the Map window.
  • Darts: Used to load the anaesthetic dart gun.
  • Food: Helps recover Hunger.
  • Gold: The heaviest thing, be sure to use the Bank of RA to drop it there and gain more prestige points.
  • Key: Helps to open the exit door to the next level.
  • Lantern: Helps to see clearer and farther in the maze.
  • Melon: Most of them explode if you grab them, but for the one you can get, just eat them to raise your Hunger bar.
  • Net: Use to entangle animals.
  • Oil: To refill the lantern.
  • Plank: Helps to cover a trap, and you can grab the plank again after crossing.
  • Snake bite cure: Cures the cobra bite and the poison trap. Note that one use of this cure will not cancel all the bites you get, each bite must be treated separately.
  • Ten-foot pole: Helps to trigger traps so they won't get you.
  • Treasure 1 — Scarab of RA: Gives 1,000 prestige points and the guardian will be after you.
  • Treasure 2 — Crown of RA: Gives 1,000 prestige points.
  • Treasure 3 — Staff of RA: Gives 1,000 prestige points.

Enemies[edit]

  • Cobra: They can bite with a poison. One poisonous bite will mean that you cannot regenerate your Health with time, and two bites means your Health will actually go down.
  • Guardian: Only one appears per level if you grab the Scarab of RA. The only way to kill them is to throw the Scarab Of RA at it. Don't miss though, else it will break. They are worth 500 prestige points, but if they touch you, your Health will go down quite a bit, so be careful.
  • Lioness: Can maul you, which drains your Health.
  • Monkey: Most annoying ones but the less harmful. They cannot hurt you, they can only steal your items. If they steal something important, just wander the area until it steals something else from you and he'll drop the item he's carrying. It can also be bribed by throwing 100 or 200 gold on him, although it's possible he will snatch it and run away.

Walls[edit]

Sometimes you will find a few things written on the walls.

  • Hyeroglyphs: No purpose.
  • Bank of RA - Gold Deposit: This is where you can deposit your gold for more prestige points (1 ounce of gold for 5 prestige points).
  • This the path to the exit: Don't mind it, sometimes it's false.
  • This isn't the path to the exit: Don't mind it, sometimes it's false.
  • Kilroy was here: No purpose.
