Challenge 1: Junkers 88 (Sept 11, 1940)[edit]

In this challenge, Lyle has got the Ju-88 in working order and you have to try it out to see if it is in the right condition to use on a mission, Lyle is riding alone in the rear gunner compartment. First using 250 lb. bombs, you have to destroy 8 practice targets, (5 on land, and 3 placed in the sea). After you have destroyed the last target, a U-Boat (U-4770) that has been spying on the Battlehawks' airbase, surfaces; after suffering damage from the last bomb. You have to destroy it before it can submerge, escape, and radio its situation back.

Goals

Primary Goal: Destroy all the bomb targets
Secondary Goal: Destroy all bomb targets in less than 4 minutes
Bonus Goal: Destroy U-Boat

Challenge 2: Eagles (Sept 15, 1940)[edit]

In this challenge, the Eagle squadron has issued a challenge to the Battlehawks, both the squadrons are to go up against the Germans, and the ones who shoot down the most German aircraft; wins. It starts with Ju-87 Stukas, with a fighter escort of Bf-109s. After they are destroyed, more Bf-109s arrive closely followed by Bf-110s. The next wave comprises Bf-109s, escorting some He-111s.

Goals

Primary Goal: Outscore the Eagles

Mission 3: Sea Lion (Sept 28, 1940)[edit]

You are flying the captured Junkers Ju-88 bomber for this mission, Trevor is in the rear gunner compartment. As luck would have it a returning flight of German Ju-88s is on its way back to base (escorted by Bf-109s), which allows you to slip into their group, you keep radio silence, and they assume you're German (Fritz), and your radio is damaged. After passing the coast, the fighter peel off and head for their base, you are then free to attack the Ju-88s, and destroy their airbase, then the Bf-109s and their airbase, or fly to the reserve airfield to help the partisans capture it. After you destroy the 88mm AA Guns, and the gun towers, the partisans are able to take the airbase, Cedrick from Dunkirk leads the assault, he then takes to the air in a captured Bf-109. You can then go onto destroy the landing craft that are docked in the harbor, and the destroyers in the sea nearby. You will not have enough bombs to destroy them all, so you will have to land at the airfield at some point. In doing this you and Trevor will each get a captured Bf-109 to fly. After half of the transport ships are sunk, a squadron of four Nemesis Bf-109 fighters led by Krieger will arrive to do battle, after the final transport ships are destroyed the remaining Nemesis fighters bomb the captured airfield. Trevor, Cedrick, and you escape back to England.
