At the beginning of the mission you will be in command of a squadron of F4U Corsairs armed with rockets. Your first objective is to destroy several destroyers, PT boats and AA emplacements before time runs out. Proceed ahead and you will encounter some PT boats and the destroyer ''Minekaze'' that is, of course, of the Minekaze class. The destroyer is damaged for unknown reasons, so fire your rockets into the ship to eliminate it quickly. Don't worry about the time limit, because you have more than enough time to destroy all targets.
After you have destroyed the targets around the ''Minekaze'' and you have passed the bridge, you will notice a second destroyer, the ''Hakaze''. Like his sister ''Minekaze'', it has low health so deal with it in the same way. You will also notice a group of tankers and cargo ships that are escaping. Stopping this convoy is your [[#Hidden objective|hidden objective]]. After you have destroyed the convoy, eliminate the remaining targets.
Now the control switches to a squadron of fast twin-engine P38 Lightnings and your objective is to protect a squadron of level bombers that are targeting the bridge. You will be attacked by Zeroes and Raidens – fast interceptors armed with four cannons which can really take a punch to your bombers. For this reason, concentrate on the Raidens when they arrive to attack you and let the gunners of the bombers finish off the remaining Zeroes of the first wave.
When the bombers arrive at the bridge and blow it up, you will receive new orders: destroy a train that passed the bridge right before its destruction and now is escaping with important cargo. The train is ''very'' well armored, and it is equipped with triple 25mm AA guns, which are not to be underestimated, especially at veteran difficulty. You will receive a secondary objective too: destroy 30 military installations around the path of the train, which are offices, bunkers and AA guns. When making a run on the train, make sure you pull up before you crash into it or another element of the scenario. Destroy the train before it exits from the map to complete your primary obectives.

Probably one of the hardest secondary objectives you have to do in this campaign. You must take out 30 military installations, while simultaneously attacking a train that is somehow ''very'' armored. Your best shot would be to get a good run on the train, then break off for a few seconds and take out some installations. More will spawn as you move down the valley. If you do not take out the train in time however, it will escape and you will fail the mission. Taking out the 30 installations will complete the secondary objective. | Probably one of the hardest secondary objectives you have to do in this campaign.
