  • Gear Shifter: Use the gear shifter to change the gear your car drives in; in MAME, it is replicated by X, but you may want to change it to the right Alt.
  • Machine Guns: Use this button to make your car fire its machine guns; in MAME, it is also replicated by the left Ctrl, meaning one must be changed.
  • Oil Slick: When you have this special weapon, use this button to make the car leave a slick of oil behind it; in MAME, this is replicated by the left Alt.
  • Smoke Screen: When with this special weapon, use this button to make the car leave a smoke screen behind it; in MAME, it is replicated by Space.

Characters[edit]

G-6155 CIA Prototype Interceptor[edit]

This white sports car is the protagonist for this game; the name is a reference to the birth-date of designer George Gomez, Thursday 6th January 1955. At the start of the game, there will be a timer at the top of the screen counting down from 60 or 90 seconds (depending on how the cabinet is set), during which time the player will have infinite lives - however, once it has run out he will lose a life every time the car is forced off the road and crashes. If you can reach 18000 points before the timer runs out, you will receive two extra lives; you will also receive additional extra lives at preset point values. In the early part of the game, the only weapon the car will possess is the machine guns - however, when it passes the weapons truck at the side of the road, it shall start moving, pass your car, and extend a ramp towards it. You can then drive up the ramp into the truck; it shall then pull over to the side of the road, and set down your car with its new weapon (either the oil slicks, the smoke screen, or the missiles, and a symbol on top of the truck will indicate which weapon it is yielding). Each of these special weapons may only be used thrice - but can get renewed with new supplies from the truck.

Enemy Agents[edit]

There are four types of enemy agents which are introduced in the attract mode: Road Lords (also known as Bullet Proof Bullies) are worth 150 points, but their bullet-proof armour plating will make them invulnerable to your machine guns (meaning you can only force them off the road by ramming them); Switch Blades (described as "Never to be trusted") are also worth 150 points and the blades that emerge from their wheels can force your car to crash if they touch it. Enforcers (also known as Double Barrel Action) are worth 500 points, and have shotgun-wielding thugs in the backs, who lean out of the windows to fire shots at your car - and Mad Bombers (described as "Master of the sky") are helicopters that are worth 700 points and try to drop bombs on your car. These bombs don't have to land on your car to kill it; if it is unlucky enough to drive into a pothole that one has created, this will kill it as well.

Weapons Truck[edit]

SH Weapons Truck.gif

As mentioned above, when your car passes this weapons truck, at the side of the road, it shall start moving, pass your car, then extend a ramp towards it; you can then drive up the ramp and into the truck, and it will then pull over to the side of the road and set down your car with its new weapon (either the oil slicks, the smoke screen, or the missiles, and a symbol on top of the truck will indicate which weapon it is yielding). Each of these special weapons may only be used thrice - but can get renewed with new supplies from the truck, by pressing on its button to call it up.

Civilians[edit]

There are three types of civilian vehicles that it is not advisable to shoot, as doing so shall temporarily break the score display (indicated by the text "NO POINTS", until it gets repaired); red cars, blue cars and motorcyclists must all be simply driven around if you wish to receive as many points as possible.
