For the purposes of this walkthrough, the levels have been grouped into three sets. The provided maps are complete, but due to the length of the levels, you will probably have to scroll the view of the map to see everything mentioned in the walkthrough. Most versions of Thexder contain 16 levels, but some contain less. Those that contain less keep the general theme of the levels the same, while changing a few of the details. The levels of the Famicom conversion of the game depart the most from the original design. The maps are known to be accurate for the following conversions: Apple IIGS, Commodore Amiga, Macintosh, MS-DOS, NEC PC-8801, NEC PC-9801. The maps are known to be inaccurate for the following conversions: MSX, Famicom, TRS-80 CoCo. Other conversions need confirmation.
