Controls[edit]

Note: You may use the Zapper instead of the control pad for this event if you have one available.

  • Neutral dpad: Use the direction pad to control the movement of the cross-hair on the screen.
  • A button: Press the A button to pull the trigger and fire your weapon.

Rules[edit]

Track & Field II Gun Firing.png

You have the option of playing with the NES Zapper instead of the control pad. You are given this choice before the event begins. Make your selection and press A button to choose it.

You must try to shoot as many gangster enemies as you can before you are hit too many times by enemy shots. You have a health meter which is shown in the lower left corner of the screen. After an enemy occupies the screen for a short amount of time, they will fire at you and decrease your health meter by a small amount. Lose too much health and the game is over.

If a minute passes and you are still alive, you will regain a small portion of health back, and the event continues. A tally is kept of every successful hit you make.

Tips[edit]

  • There are two positions where enemies appear on the left, as opposed to three on the right. Therefore, you are more likely to need your cross-hair on the right side of the screen then on the left.
  • You have an unlimited amount of ammunition, so you can fire as frequently as you like. There is no penalty for missing. Your shots don't even have to be all that accurate to successfully hit an enemy.
