Transmutation is a game mechanic of transforming items into other items, at the cost of Materialize Points. There are three transmutation levels, with varying results.
- Level 1, normal transmutation: available from the start.
- Level 2, gem transmutation: replaces normal transmutation while Lenneth has Creation Gem equipped. It can be acquired in Tower of Lezard in Chapter 4.
- Level 3, jewel transmutation: replaces normal and gem transmutation while Lenneth has Creation Jewel equipped. It can be acquired by acquiring Fairy Bottle from Black Dream Tower (easy & normal) or Manual of Resurrection from Dark Tower of Xervah (hard), also in Chapter 4, and gem-transmuting it into Orihalcon and then Creation Jewel. Starting from Chapter 6, Orihalcon can also be directly created for 100000 MP.
