• Virtual Families plays in "real-time" - the game runs even after you quit! You choose pause in options or hit the spacebar to pause.
• The time in the game syncs with your computer. 9am in real-live is 9am in the game. You can choose to reverse day and night in the options.
• Leaving the game running is okay for a couple days as long as there is food. Longer than that and you take your chances. Remember to pause!
• Your virtual family needs sleep! Remember to let them rest overnight sometimes for 6-8 hours.
• Change behavior by grabbing them and dropping them until the action your looking for happens.
• The game will end when there is no next generation so you better have some kids if you want to keep playing!
• You will need several generations of kids to get all the achievements.
