You start the level sandwiched between two Eggplant Men. Immediately walk forward with good timing to avoid being hit.
When the Eggplant Man ahead of you climbs the ladder, run forward and hit the pillar supporting the first barrel, then move back to the right. The barrel will fall down, creating a trap for the Eggplant Men to fall into.
Climb up to the row of breakable ladders and break one of them; this will cause the Eggplant Man behind you to turn around and get trapped with the others. If you can, try to knock Spike to the bottom at the same time. If you do, he will usually stay out of your way.
On the row above the breakable ladders, break the pillar holding up the floor near the door. Now you need to try and lure both Gotcha Wrenches into the doors.
With all but one of the enemies out of the way, you can now work your way back down the stage, breaking the walls. Do not break the tall ladder or the walls on the very top row yet. Avoid hitting any more pillars or bombs.
If a fireball appears, you don't have many escape options. Stay on the ladder to lure the fireball out on a particular row, then climb to another row to break the walls, then repeat for the next row. You can usually break 5 or 6 Dark Bricks in a row before you need to get out of the fireball's path.
To clear the top row, you will need to climb up closely behind the Eggplant Man, break one or two walls, then climb back down to safety. The second row with the line of bombs and the row at the bottom of the ladder are safe spots where the Eggplant Man won't run. You can wait here, but be ready to move quickly if the fireball makes an appearance.
Once the top row has been cleared, climb down the ladder and break it, or hit the bomb next to it to finish the stage.
The Prize Bomb is the bomb 2nd from the right on the 7th level. If this is the third bomb to explode, you receive a prize based on how many times you have swung the hammer after the start of the Phase. If you try to activate the Prize Bomb in just 6 hammer swings, you will render the Phase unwinnable. However, swinging your hammer an additional 8 times (14 swings, 22 swings, 30 swings, etc.) will also reveal the Golden Hammer. You will need to carefully keep count.
Follow the solution until all but one of the enemies is trapped.
Hit the bomb underneath the doors.
Climb up after the remaining Eggplant Man and clear out the top row of walls before you clear out the lower rows. Hitting the Prize Bomb will set off a chain reaction that will destroy the ladder. If you don't clear the top row first, the Phase becomes unwinnable.
With your final hammer swing, hit the bomb to the right of the Prize Bomb. You will need to quickly move left and back to the right to avoid being knocked down by the blast. If you are, you won't be able to climb back up to claim your prize.
Destroy two other bombs near the top, and then strike the indicated bomb with your 3rd (11th, 19th, etc.) hammer strike, but try not to get yourself trapped by the beam holding up the barrel to the left.
Destroy the bomb at the top, and then make your way to the bomb to the right of the indicated bomb. Strike it with your ninth hammer swing so that the indicated bomb is the third destroyed.
