Humans can start either in Freeport or Qeynos/Surefall.  Humans get the most choices of classes, are one of only two races that can play a monk, and level faster than most other races.  However, they suffer from lesser overall starting stats.  A human can be play any class except Shaman, Beastlord, or Berserker.  Thus he can be a bard, cleric, druid, enchanter, magician, monk, necromancer, paladin, rogue, shadowknight, warrior, or wizard.  Humans are considered a good race, unless they pick an evil class.  Humans cannot see the dark, and need a light source when going out at night.  Other than halflings, no other race levels as fast as a human.
