You will first listen to Grand Master Abbott talk. Then leave the room and go down the stairs until you are at the bottom and enter the door. When you cross halls, look to your right and you will be in a courtyard. There is a chest; get it for a dew drop then go to the next door for 2 more dew drops. Backtrack until the halls mentioned earlier. Go to the door to your right and go to the door straight in front of you. You will be in the kitchen. Talk to the person there for fresh bread and then open the chest for honey bread. Go to the giant blue door and you will finally be outside of the monastery. Take the left path first and you will see a stable. Climb on the haystack for a spirit bubble. It is recommended you choose earth because that makes the game easier. Now take the other path until you see a door, and enter it. and that makes the first part of the walkthrough.

Keep going through the paths and look to your left after passing the lake when there is a wide open space; you will find a spirit bubble there. now continue through the path and do not go the wrong way, That's what troubles people in the game. Now look to your right when there is wide open spaces to your right because when you see a purple house, Go in because there is a spirit bubble inside the house. Now continue through the path and when you see another house you will see a spirit bubble. Get it and continue through the path. When you see a wooden sign go to your right and see a giant castle. Go through the door there.

Now you're out of Melrode Village. Follow the path, then look to your left where there is a wide open space after passing the lake: you will find a spirit there. Continue along the path towards the South. Look to your right where there is wide open space and you'll see a purple house, enter it for another spirit. Continue along the path until you see another house with a spirit in the garden. Get the spirit and continue along the path. When you see a wooden sign go to your right and towards a walled city. Enter the gate there.

Backtrack all the way to holy plains. And fight enemies until you have these results

This is some horrible forest. take the path to your left. You will see a small hut. Go in it to find a spirit bubble and giant's shoes. When you exit the hut go to the path to your left. Keep going and when you see a tree with a hole in the bottom of it, There is a spirit bubble then continue to the path. Eventually you will see a purple gate. Take the path to your left and look near the side of the hill facing the purple gate for another spirit bubble. Now enter the gate for your doom.

For a first boss he can be really hard. It is recommended to have your health at 70 before you face him.

Do not get close to Solvaring or he will kill you easily with his quartz attack. When you are far away from him, he will do a magma beam attack; move left or right while he prepares the attack. Do not use Earth attacks against him, because it is his own element. Eventually you will kill him and get your health capacity will be upgraded by ten and the reward is the Earth Orb.  
It is also recommended to have 13 earth spirits before you face him. Now after solvaring talks you will fight him.
If you have rock level 3, keep attacking him with it. Rock level 2 also works good. Do not get close to solvaring or solvaring will kill you easily with his quartz attack. When you are far away from solvaring, he will do a magma beam attack; Move left or right while he prepares the attack. Eventually you will kill him and get your health capacity upgraded by ten and the reward is the earth orb.
