Usually it's best to put it on the talk/discussion page of the article, if its more than just one fact, but if the guide is still in the works its okay to put an editor note in. For example, I usually say something like "Some people think..." or "After some testing, it seems that... but that hasn't been verified". Or, you could just put "(unverified)".
