I would support a merge. The contents on both pages are pretty similar, so merging the pages would be no problem. 0-172 Talk to me 1:55, 10 February 2007 (CST)

Attribution

The attribution section needs some fixing up. All images are used under fair use unless otherwise specified. -- Prod (Talk) 20:08, 5 December 2009 (UTC)

Speaking of fair use, I don't understand your recent changes to scope concerning unlicensed game images. There's no reason why we can't use images from unlicensed games. Most unlicensed games use their own IP and aren't infringing on anyone's copyright. Unlicensed just means they created a game that can be played on a system without signing a licensing agreement with the system's manufacturer. Fair use wouldn't apply to images from games that are copyright infringements themselves, but there is a big distinction between copyright infringement and licensing. — najzereT 20:18, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
Re-reading the scope section, I think it means to say if a developer uses copyrighted images without the copyrightholder's permission, we can't use those game images. The sentence is just ambiguous, as it seems to say any copyrighted image from an unlicensed game, although the developer has a legitimate copyright on its own IP. Just needs clarification, I think. — najzereT 20:22, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
