Welcome to the game, Over the Hedge, if you watch the movie of the same name, then you will like this game. This game is a very good game but the reason why of the E10+ rating because the enemies are harder to defeat to the more progress of the game. And also there are some fantasy violence, that means there is no blood. That's why it's hence the rating. It is also available for the Xbox and the Nintendo GameCube if you haven't notice that. Setting
It is setting one year after the movie, it's pretty different, eh. This time, Dwayne the Exterminator returns on his evil plans of capturing animals including the gang. It's located in a estate of houses. We do a few of the levels from the movie and it goes to 1 year later, that's why it's such different this year. Now that it's kind of pretty good quality. Gameplay
There are 35 levels, 3 mini-games, and extra. So you can play from any characters except for the storyline, And you is pretty good and the first enemy is rats. There is a evil company entitled "VermTech", which captures animals that have vermin in it. So also, there is Martin, Smith, and Gladys which are very mean to the animals. So you can play RJ, Verne, Stella, and Hammy. Hammy is a pretty funny and hyper behavior, RJ is a normal behavior, and the rest of the gang has normal behavior. They get more stuff for the hedge. Like a cotton candy machine, a popcorn machine. The computer can also help you but the computers are not pretty good. You can do pretty fun stuff and to get more extra stuff from any level you are at. It's pretty hard though that there is nothing to do with it. The enemies are pretty easy but not that good in the middle of the game progress. You can also replay the levels after you complete one. And there are 3 mini-games which are RC Rally, BumperCars, and Ranging Driver, and that's all. There are a lot of levels in this game. The movie was distributed by DreamWorks. At the end, you will defeat the final boss, Dwayne, you can't kill him but kill the mind controlling systems and the general computer. After you defeat them, the story is done.
