Having emerged from the cave, you now find yourself outside during the evening, standing at the foot of the rocky mountains. Immediately, you'll notice a road to your right. To advance, you'll need to jump across various gaps onto the rocks. As you proceed, be wary of falling rocks from the mountains above, which come in small, medium, and large sizes. Be swift and avoid getting hit otherwise you'll take some damage.
Soon, you'll encounter a new challenge: a wide gap that's too extensive to jump across. To navigate this, use the grappling hook available. Simply press the correct button to latch onto the hook and swing across to the next rock. Continue jumping across a few more gaps until you encounter two enemy bases situated on a larger rock. Your goal here is to eliminate these bases and the enemies guarding them.
Further ahead, another set of gaps awaits you, leading to yet another rock with enemy bases. Handle them as you did with the first set. As you move on, watch out for airborne rocks that sway from left to right. Timing your jumps when these rocks swing to the left will be your best strategy.
Additionally, a gopher and a badger, familiar from their debut in Smith's House, will challenge you. While the badger is fast, you can easily defeat him. Once you've handled these adversaries, you'll approach another cave entrance. This marks the beginning of a new sub-level.
Your immediate challenge is a locked door requiring four keys. For the first key, head left down a narrow path. Once you've acquired it, don't miss out on the hat nearby. The second key is straightforward: retrace your steps to the main path, then turn right, following another narrow trail. As you retrieve this key, gophers will emerge to ambush you. While you can choose to battle or bypass them, a humorous moment awaits when they clumsily fall into the ground.
For the third key, take the southern route. Be ready to face another badger, but be aware that he can be quickly dispatched by making him tumble off the edge. The fourth and final key is conveniently located near the locked door, guarded by one last badger. After overcoming this final obstacle, use the keys to unlock the door and complete the level.
