Even though we're chased out, Edgeworth insists on finding the true murderer. Our first order of business is to find the real crime scene. Gumshoes will arrive and inform us about a witness at the stadium. There's noone here...except Ema Skye, someone you should know from the first game. She was a witness in one of Edgeworth's cases. She is studying abroad to become a forensics scientist and is only in the country for spring break. Talk to her:
- Ema Skye: Ema will mention something about a footprint spray. That could be useful.
- The witness: Ema didn't witness anything, though she did say that Gumshoe had called her there.
Examine the Pink Badgermobile. The Pink Badger will run to the stadium. There's nothing to do but to talk to her. It turns out that she is Wendy Oldbag, a character from past games and someone who adores Edgeworth!
- Wendy Oldbag: Nothing useful to you.
- The witness: Oldbag says she did see the murder!
Testimony: Wendy Oldbag
- I came to this stadium to take a short break.
- As I was resting, I happened to glance over and I saw two men facing each other in the area.
- Suddenly, there was a loud gunshot, and the person who was shot fell to the ground.
- It was a very terrifiying experience, let me tell you!
Rebuttal: What Oldbag Witnessed
Press statement 2. Wendy Oldbag doesn't remember any of their features because she thought they were too uninteresting. Kay will now show us a wierd new gadget that she claims is her secret weapon. After inputting some information into the device, she projects the image over the whole area. She will introduce us to Little Thief, a projection device that can simulate any situation! This could show errors in a witness' testimony.
Investigation: Stadium
An investigation in a re-creation is exactly the same as normal. Just walk up to things and examine them. Examine the victim's body. Edgeworth will say that this scene contradicts the facts of the murder. Present the Mr. Deacon's Murder Notes. There's no blood on the floor, but Wendy isn't someone who would lie to Edgeworth. You will get the Why is there no blood? logic.
