Sanritsu Electronics Co., Ltd. was an arcade game manufacturer based in Chiyoda, Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Pref., between 1978 and 1988; their first game, Space War, which was released in their inceptive year, was a straight clone of Taito's Space Invaders, only with a slightly altered UFO sprite. Four years later, in 1982, they released Dream Shopper and Rougien (they also developed Mermaid for the Rock-Ola Manufacturing Corporation) - and in 1983, they released Dr. Micro, and Van-Van Car. In 1984, they developed Appoooh and Bank Panic for Sega; two years later, in 1986, they released Mahjong Kyō Jidai (only in Japan) and finally, in 1988, they developed Kikīpatsu Mayumi-chan for Victory L.L.C. (in Japan) before disappearing forever.
