Angband is a Roguelike game based on the Lord of the Rings series. This roguelike game takes the belief that any character should be able to spend enough time to obtain his or her maximum power through the recreation of it's dungeon levels, and as such, it is known for its deep dungeon and large levels.

Angband is based on the game Moria, and shares many concepts introduced in the original game; but has otherwise evolved to fulfill the expectations of the players.
