{{All Game Nav|game=Brain Lord}}
I'll start off by being blunt. This game isn't that good. Especially when Enix has produced many other quality games for the SNES like ''Soul Blazer'', ''Terranigma'', ''Actraiser'', the quirky yet fun ''EVO: The Search for Eden'', and of course ''Dragon Warrior 5'' and 6. This game seems to concentrate heavily on puzzles, too heavily I think, since most of the other aspects of the game like story, length and even gameplay take a backseat to it. The puzzles involved aren't even that difficult; most of them can be solved in a few minutes and even the few tougher ones aren't really that hard. The game itself is an Action RPG as they're called in that the battles are fought in real time and don't use the mechanics of a Turn-Based Traditional RPG. If that's confusing, just think of the game as sort of like Legend of Zelda but with more RPG qualities. It's hard to explain it much more than that but you'll get it when you start playing.

==Prologue==
You may enjoy this game more than I did so give it a try if you can find it cheaply enough, but it's better to use an emulator so you can test it out and not waste money if you don't like it. Well, this document will attempt to help you through the game to the best of my abilities. I've been playing this game on and off for a couple of years now so I think I got a pretty good handle on it. The game itself is fairly straight forward and unfortunately, pretty linear so you shouldn't have that much trouble. Also, there are LOTS of spoilers in the walkthrough. I'm not responsible for any part of the story/plot that's given away in the walkthrough.
After you enter your name, you'll get to see a little of the back story. Just watch. You can't skip this part so grab some popcorn and a drink and settle in. The father's about to leave when his son (that's you, by the way) asks him when he'll be back. The father doesn't know. Before he can leave, the boy asks if he can tell you the Dragon story. The father goes through the old legacy story that's been done before in an RPG - he's the third generation of his family to go looking for the dragon and that hundreds of years ago, people flew around on dragons. The tribe he was from were known as Dragon Warriors *cough* *cough*...

Anyway. Each person in the tribe would find a dragon and train it to be their partner. Together they were very powerful, but unfortunately wouldn't go terrorizing the countryside like I would if I had a dragon. *sigh* Now back to the story. One day, the members of the tribe were drawn into a great battle where lots of lives were lost. He then mentions the obvious that you are a decendant of the Dragon Warriors and that you can't let the bloodline perish. He also learned in his travels that there's a dragon in a place called the Tower of Light. He'll say a few other things then he'll leave to find the dragon in the aforementioned tower. And he never returns...
