JoWooD Productions is an Austrian computer game publisher of computer and video games, founded in 1995. They release internationally acclaimed, high-quality titles for all existing and future gaming systems through a worldwide net of distribution partners.
A selection of their popular games include the action role playing games in the Gothic series, as well as fan-favourite Sam & Max.
On November 4, 2006, JoWooD announced the acquisition of DreamCatcher Games, in efforts to move to the North American gaming markets.
