Dock Man marquee

Dock Man, also known as Port Man in NA, is a platform arcade game released by Taito Corporation in 1982, and licensed to Nova Games, for Canadian manufacture and distribution; it utilizes two Zilog Z80 microprocessors running up at 3 and 2.5 MHz, with two General Instrument AY-3-8910s running at 2 MHz for sound. The player must use a 4-way joystick to take control of the eponymous Dock (or Port) Man, with a single button to make him catch the parcels which fall from the conveyor belt at the top of the screen, then throw them into one of the four berths on the boat in the background - and he must get four into each berth, a total of sixteen without getting hit by the rocks thrown by the man on the boat, getting rolled over by parcel transporters or running out of parcels on the conveyor belt (all of which shall cost him a life). Once Dock Man gets four parcels into each berth the screen changes and he shall then have to throw rocks up at crates of dynamite to knock them down; he has to catch them before they land, because if he does not, they shall explode and destroy the lowest level of his area. If he is on the same level as the exploding crate, it will again cost him a life - and the man from the boat is also back to throw more of his own rocks down at him, and ensure that explosion isn't the only way he can die. Once he has caught all the crates, the cycle shall start again at a higher speed.
