For the Game Boy game see Double Dragon II.

Double Dragon II: The Revenge is an arcade game created by Technos in 1989. It's a sequel to Double Dragon. Similar to the predecessor, but has tweaked and recolored sprites.

Double Dragon II: The Revenge was ported to numerous home systems. There was also a Game Boy title simply called Double Dragon II, but this was actually the Kunio-kun game Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun: Bangai Rantō-hen localised into English with Double Dragon graphics and a new plot. As a result it has significantly different gameplay and level design.
