You must reach Level 11 in order to enter any race in the Muscle Car Championship. In addition, the following restrictions apply to your choice of car:

That means the Buick Special for A-spec and the Shelby Cobra 427 ‘66 for B-spec (although the Shelby also makes for a good choice in A-spec). You may wish to invest in some Sports:Soft tyres to help your B-spec driver get round the corners safer.
For B-spec, another option is the Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR. It's a bit expensive (100'000 cr.) but it'll comfortably win especially on Laguna Seca. A cheaper choice of car for an easy win is the Cadillac CIEN Concept '02.

The event consists of two individual races:
Daytona Road Course length is 3.56 miles, longest straight is 0.36 miles with no elevation gap. Total distance is 10.68 miles.
Laguna Seca Raceway course length is 2.24 miles, longest straight is 0.17 miles, elevation gap is 180.4 feet and total distance is 11.19 miles. Takes approximately 8 minutes to complete.
