Guitar Hero II/Controls

Playstation
The controller maps its buttons to buttons found on a standard Playstation analog controller (buttons are not pressure sensitive as on the Dual Shock II). The following buttons are mapped on the guitar:

The left D-pad button (
) is an indicator for Guitar Hero to determine if you've plugged in a guitar controller- it must be set to constant "on" for the game to recognize the unit as a guitar. The other buttons (D-pad right, R1, R3, L1, L2, L3, the right stick, and the remaining axes of the left stick) are unused.
XBox
The colored keys correspond to the matching keys on the XBox controller. The guitar also features a D-pad.
