Story[edit]
Kirby encounters a yarn magician named Yin-Yarn and gets turned into yarn himself and sent to Patch Land. Here he meets Prince Fluff, who explains that Yin-Yarn tore apart the continents of Patch Land, so the two set off on an adventure to restore Patch Land and save Dream Land from the clutches of the yarn wizard.
Gameplay[edit]
Kirby and Prince Fluff can use a yarn whip and different small and large (Metamortex) yarn transformations to progress through levels, the design of which is diverse and based around the transformations. Most foes are not hostile, and there is no life or damage system, instead having a bead collection system as the main currency.
The game reintroduces the hub level system from Kirby's Adventure and Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. Kirby also now owns a pad, located at apartment 101 in Quilty Court, where he can put furniture and other stuff. This game's sub-games are played through Kirby's neighbors, such as Zeke and Beadrix. Neighbors move in when Kirby puts correct furniture in their apartments.
