The Mini-Game Coaster is a feature in the Mini-game Land of Mario Party 2. To unlock the Mini-Game Coaster, the player has to buy all of the 4-player, 2-vs-2, and 1-vs-3 minigames from woody. The player has to pick his or her own character, and the partner for the 2-vs-2 minigames, as well as the difficulty setting. At first, the player can only play the Easy course. In order to play the normal course, the player has to beat the easy course.  Likewise, the normal course has to be cleared before the hard course can be played.

The objective is to reach the Goal. The player has four lives. If he or she loses a minigame, that player will lose one life. At 100 coins, they get an extra life. By clearing minigames in a row without losing, the player will get bonus coins for consecutive clears. All the 4-player, 1-vs-3, and 2-vs-2 minigames, divided into nine worlds, have to be completed to finish the Mini-Game Coaster. At the end of the game, the player gets bonus coins for the remaining lives and coins and beating normal and hard courses gives the player the ability to buy item and battle mini games off woody.
